Fish Oil
Fish oil is valued for the long-chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. These lipids support nutrition, health and performance, making fish oil a strategic ingredient in aquaculture feed and selected other applications.
Triplenine’s Fish Oil portfolio includes fish oil, feed oil and marine phospholipids, bringing together nutritional and functional marine lipids for different requirements.

Marine phospholipids for specialised aquaculture nutrition, combining marine phosphatidylcholine, choline and long-chain omega-3 fatty acids. Processed at our Esbjerg operation, with specialist handling and value-added processing supporting nutritional and functional requirements.
Fish oil extracted from fishmeal and further processed, including dioxin cleaning. It provides valuable marine fatty acids and increased levels of cholesterol, making it suitable for shrimp and fish diets.
Key Quality Parameters
EPA + DHA: Typ. 21%
FFA: Max. 12%
TOTOX: Max. 25
Our Esbjerg operation provides oil cleaning and purification, storage, mixing and product handling, alongside production of value-added marine phospholipids. Where tighter contaminant specifications are required, specialist processing can reduce dioxins and other persistent organic pollutants through a gentle activated-carbon process.
Marine Phospholipids
Marine phospholipids combine nutritional and functional value. They are particularly relevant in early-stage aquaculture, where feed intake, cell function and healthy development matter from the start.
Can support survival and weight gain in fry, juveniles and fingerlings.
Phospholipids are important components of cell membranes and support normal cell function.
Can support feed intake, growth and health in young fish.
Marine phospholipids can support the immune response under challenging and stressful conditions.
Fish oil supplies EPA and DHA to feeds for farmed fish. Raw-material selection, freshness and handling matter when choosing a quality for the intended formulation. Marine phospholipids are particularly relevant in early-stage aquaculture, including fry, juveniles and fingerlings, where they can support feed intake, cell function and development.
